Congrats to Taylor Hosford and Taylor Hosford Racing for her win in Box Stock Heavy Money at Crossroads Motorplex, and also a strong second place in the points feature. The J9 Motorsports #J9 Kart will be racing this weekend on October 1, at the Inox 100 weekend in Jasper, FL at Crossroads Motorplex. Stay tuned for more details and results.



FOLLOW UP:
Qualified on Pole Friday night for BSP Super Heavy and finished second. Saturday, qualified second and beat previous track record by 2 tenths, and finished second in the race and turned the fast lap in the race.

September 17, 2011 - Callahan Speedway, Callahan, Florida.

The 7th and final GA/FL Maxxis Dirt Series Summer Series Race was to be held on the clay short track at the North Florida Fairgrounds. The J9 Motorsports team was prepared and ready to finish the season with a great points day and did just that, with Justin DeVane in the #J9 Kart qualifying 4th and taken 3rd at the start. I was able to push the second place kart for the entire race, but never able to get position on the second place kart to make a clean pass, a feat which is not easy to accomplish at Callahan. We settled for a 3rd place, which moved me into 3rd in the overall standings and I finished the season with two consecutive 3rd place finishes. Next up is the Maxxis National October 16 and 17th at Neese's in South Carolina.
