The weather was perfect and the field was set for the first ever sanctioned race held at the all new Atlanta Motorsports Park in Dawsonville, Georgia on November 2nd and 3rd.  Speedway Creations Racing completed both double 7 races and earned top 20 finished in both events, and also won a Cometic Gaskets award.  The team managed to complete 402 laps on the 2 mile circuit over two days.  Our next race will be in February 2014 at Road Atlanta.

Speedway Creations finished 49th out of 123 cars at the 2nd Annual 14 Hours of Daytona Optima Battery ChumpCar World Series event held May 26th.  Drivers Justin DeVane, Mark DeVane, Allen Wheeler, and Sean Cassidy all took turns piloting the #84 Speedway Creations Mazda around the 3.56 miles famed Daytona course.  Next up is the Slightly More Than 12 Hours of Sebring, September 28.

Speedway Creations Racing finished 36th at Road Atlanta February 9th in our second race.  We completed 320 laps, and over 800 miles on the 2.54 mile 12 turn road course.  A few issues were discovered, like fuel pickup issues, but overall, the car ran the entire 14 hours and only one hiccup all days was early in the running when a fuel pump wire came off the switch.
